Eagle County Case Study
“By modernizing our IT operations with LINQ, my organization can focus more on strengthening our work culture and, most importantly, directing more resources toward improving the quality of the educational experience for every student, every day.”

Jack Donnelly
Chief Technology Officer
Eagle County School District, Colorado

Eagle County School District serves 6,492 students and employs over 1,000 people in its tight-knit Rocky Mountain community. Chief Technology Officer Jack Donnelly joined the district in 2023, bringing over three decades of private sector leadership experience. He quickly focused on alleviating technology challenges hampering efficiency.

Working closely with the district’s CFO/COO and CHRO, who both have decades of K-12 leadership expertise, Jack and his team identified LINQ as the right technology partner to help with the business and IT transformation journey ahead. “LINQ has the technology infrastructure we need and the expertise to help us transition from an ‘On Prem’ ERP system to cloud-hosted LINQ and get it done right,” Jack said. The district is mission-focused on simplifying processes, securing data, and boosting efficiency across departments.

Key Objectives Enabled by Transitioning to Hosted LINQ:

  • Securing mission-critical information assets
  • Increasing our ERP system uptime/availability
  • Reducing our IT operational support costs
  • Leveraging LINQ’s Grant Management and Fixed Asset Management tools
