FAQs
What will we discuss on the initial call?
We’ll focus on understanding your priorities and needs. Then we can build a demo tailored for your district.
Will I get pricing on the call?
We’ll walk through options that fit your district’s size and needs after the demo and additional conversations.
We’re already on another platform. Is this worth our time?
That’s exactly who we talk to most. If you’re mid-contract or just starting to evaluate, we’re happy to show you what’s possible and let you decide.
How is LINQ different from what we’re using now?
Most districts we talk to are running on systems that weren’t built for K–12 or weren’t built to work together. LINQ is purpose-built for school districts — nutrition, finance, HR, and payments in one place, not multiple vendors.
What size school districts does LINQ work with?
LINQ partners with districts of all sizes. If you’re spending more time on manual processes than you should be, that’s the conversation we’re built for, regardless of how many sites, students, or square miles you’re serving.
How long does implementation take?
It depends on which solutions you’re moving to LINQ and what you’re coming from. We’ll give you a realistic timeline as we better understand your needs — no overpromising.
Do you offer training and ongoing support?
Yes. Every district gets onboarding support and access to our K–12-specific customer success team after go-live.
Can LINQ integrate with our existing systems?
In many cases, yes. We’ll ask about your current tech stack on the call and tell you exactly what’s possible.
How does LINQ support districts serving a high percentage of free and reduced-price meals, or those districts using CEP or UBA?
Families apply for free and reduced-price meals digitally through the LINQ Connect app — one app for menus, applications, and meal accounts. Direct certification extends benefits to every qualified household member, even those missing from the DC file, and status changes flow to the POS and LINQ Connect in real time. For CEP and UBA districts, that means accurate counting and claiming without chasing individual applications.
